When you donate quality items to The Giving Tree, you support students attending public, private, and charter schools in Wake Forest & Youngsville.

The proceeds raised through the resale of your donations allows us to provide funding for ongoing educational, enrichment and extracurricular programs.Your donation also supports community recycling efforts and contributes directly to the local economy.

We LOVE bringing your once-loved items back to life, but may not be able to accept some items based on condition or suitability for sale in our stores.

All donations will receive a Tax Deduction receipt and act as credit towards your favorite Wake Forest or Youngsville School.

  • DVD’s (in storage case) – No VHS tapes

  • Furniture ( small & medium sized)

  • Linens (comforters, throw pillows, area rugs)

  • Gardening Supplies, Tools, & Decor

  • General Home Decor Items (vases, lamps, bookends, etc)

  • Holiday Items (accepted all year)

  • Toys & Games (in original container, with all parts & pieces)

  • Clothes & Shoes

  • Electronics; Computers, Printers, TV’s, Radios, Speakers

  • Car Seats, Potty Seats, Baths, Crib Bumpers/Mattresses

  • Helmets, Life Jackets, Flotation Devices

  • Large Appliances; Refrigerators, Washers, Dryers

  • Encyclopedias, Magazines, Books with Notes/Writing Inside
  • Bed Frames, Headboard/Foot boards, Cribs

  • Mattresses, Futon Pads, Used Bed Sheets, Used Towels

  • Large Gym Equipment, Ski’s, Pendant Lights/Chandeliers
  • Weapons of any kind

  • Recalled Items, Pack N Plays

  • Items in poor condition including broken, wet, toxic

  • Items that smell of cigarettes or mothballs

  • Obscene Materials; DVD’s, Books, etc.

Donation Hours

Wake Forest:

Mon-Sat 10:30-4:30

Please park in rear of store and bring donations to our Donation Porch, then come inside to get a tax receipt and earn credit for your school.

Youngsville:

Tues-Sat 10:30-4:30
